Description

My sculpture ‘The Last Supper’ is a 3D interpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous mural. It is produced to give the effect that the painting has fallen out of the frame and is now lying in a pile on the floor. The hands are made in ceramic and copy the original gestures. The main mass is constructed from polystyrene and plaster on a concealed wooden base. Pieces of pottery have been inserted to represent the crockery from the table and it is all painted in matt white. The overall dimensions are – approx. 1.1 metre in diameter on the floor by 1 metre high. This is a one-off signed piece and it can be raised on a set of black marble columns. POA.
